Chimera

Chimera is a thesis for the Parsons Illustration program in 2023. It consists of a short comic and several stand-alone illustrations.

It is a story of masked travelers trapped within a contained world. The few who live here must venture into the ruins of a crumbling civilization while avoiding the mysterious and ever-present Chimera.

I took aesthetic inspiration from illuminated manuscripts and folklore, using The Met Cloisters as architectural reference. To showcase what I had learned from my time at Parsons, I focused on detailed background environments and intricate line work.
