Process

For each cover, I started with the typography before adding visuals. For Tornado Warning's text, I evoked metal album headers. The visuals used on the cover and back cover came from my old photography. The second album, Overgrowth had more classical goth type. The cover imagery for it is a woodblock illustration. The albums are visually distinct but related as if created at different times in the hypothetical band's discography. After the covers, I made the foldout booklets with the information for each song on the fake albums.
